No Batman, just Robin
Even though it is the first day of astronomical spring, the winter still doesn't want to go away. Today was even snowing again in Czechia! However, being on strict lockdown there are not many opportunities to get out taking photographs anyway. Zack Snyder could not make better timing for his four hours long Justice League remake. But since Batman once again missed his Robin in the movie, lets put a small patch on this cinematographic wound. And could there be a better substitute for a spandex-wearing sidekick than European robin?
It is hard not to love these little feathery balls. European robins are probably the original angry birds, since they almost always look like someone told a really bad “Yo Momma“ joke on their expense…

I might be wrong, but I don’t consider robins to be a typical “feeder” birds like tits or sparrows. During my strolls around Vrbenské ponds I usually ran into them on the paths, where they dug for acorns trapped in the mud.

They are not too skittish, however, they did not lose their natural caution completely. When they decided I was too close (usually about 5 metres and closer), they took off to nearby branches and gave me long and very judgmental look.
